По-перше, це ім’я регулярно з’являється чи не в усіх публікаціях про бій під Крутами (січень 1918 р.), де автори уміщують списки розстріляних або учасників. По-друге, у 2014 році мною опубліковано археографічну статтю «Крутянець Олександр Борозенко-Конончук» з деталями біографії (Крутянець Олександр Борозенко-Конончук / Упоряд. В. Скальський // Проблеми вивчення історії Української революції 1917—1921 років. Збірник наукових статей. — Вип. 10. — К.: Інститут історії України, 2014. — С. 368—386.). Утім, у біографічних дослідженнях завжди є простір для деталізації. При суцільному перегляді справи 22 опису 1 фонду 1076 «Український військовий генеральний комітет», що зберігається у Центральному державному архіві вищих органів влади та управління, виявлено документ «Іменний список солдат-українців 3-го авіаційного парку» . Документ датований 28 червня 1917 року та підписаний заступником голови Українського комітету 3-го Авіаційного парку Борозенком. При цьому ініціали не зазначені. У списку під номером 250 значиться фельдшер Олександр Борозенко. Інших людей з таким прізвищем у списку немає. Це значить, що фельдшер Олександр Борозенко і заступник голови Українського комітету Борозенко є однією і тією ж особою. Попри те, що не вказане подвійне прізвище, сумнівів, що у документі йдеться саме про крутянця Олександра Борозенка-Конончука немає. Адже, ймовірність того, що існує дві людини на ім’я «Олександр Борозенко», які є фельдшерами і служать в російській армії вкрай низька. Отже, крутянець Олександр Борозенко-Конончук служив фельдшером у 3-му Авіаційному парку і був там заступником голови Українського комітету." .
